To rev up your ride with diamond plate metal, first you must measure the area.  We suggest making a paper template of the size and shape of the area that you want to cover with diamond plate.  Be sure to cover all rusted areas with an overlap of at least 3/4" so that you get good adhesion.  Once you have gotten the metal diamond plate cut to the size and shape that you want it, clean and dry the area that you are putting it on.  If there is rusty spots, take an metal bristle brush to gently scrape away any loose pieces.  Last, put an even coat of adhesion product on the diamond plate metal and hold it firmly in place with clamps until the adhesive is dry.  After the adhesive is thoroughly dry, take off the clamps and polish the diamond plate with a soft, dry cloth.  Now, you are ready to roll!

Once you get your vehicle revved up with diamond plate metal, you can focus on the place you store it!  Aluminum diamond plate sheets can be a durable and beautiful addition to your garage or workshop!  Check out our blog next week to find out how to get the Ultimate Garage!
