 After your order of diamond plate has arrived from CutsMetal, you need to clear the room so that you can easily access the walls.  Next, you need to prepare the walls by making sure that they are clean so that the adhesive can adhere better to them.  Remove all of your switch plates and outlet covers that will be affected by the installation of the diamond plate wainscoting.  We offer matching switch plates and outlet covers that can highlight the effect of your room!  Now you are ready to unpack your diamond plate sheets!  We have a video here that can help you prepare the diamond plate easily! Next, you should cut out any outlet and switch plate opening...be sure to measure twice and cut once!  Again, we have prepared this great video for you to see how easy it is to cut our durable diamond plate sheets.  Once everything is measured and cut, you are ready to put the checker plate sheets (another common name for diamond plate) on the walls.  This video  from CutsMetal will show you how.  Once you have your diamond plate wall panels and trim securely in place, you should put the corner guards in place to give the room a finished look.  We carry both outside and inside corner pieces that are custom made in our facility, to perfectly match your diamond plate wainscoting!
